Why did we choose this topic?

Hello! Jessie here. I just wanted to quickly share why I chose this topic. I've seen many people pass away due to overdoses or alcoholism. Whether that be my family, friends, or just people my age. Nothing ever makes it easier to see or hear about because it's a very difficult topic and it's very hard to understand for many. I knew this was something important for our community and I feel that starting to get rid of the stigma around the topic it may save someone's life someday.
